Location
Villa Teras is located 8km from Ubud in Frangipani Lane, a quiet flower filled lane positioned in the quiet, untouched village of Batuan. Nestled above the banks of the Woz River, Villa Teras is surrounded by coconut trees, bamboo groves and offers stunning views from all rooms to the terraced rice paddies across the river.

Step back to a time where the only noises are a rushing river, the rustle of palm leaves, children’s laughter and frog symphonies. Find a stillness and peace far, far from the everyday. A lush green riot of tropical plants surrounds the river side of the house, whilst the garden is manicured and features a beautifully designed pool and massage bale.

The Villa
A traditional entrance leads from a gated security car parking area to the pool and garden, then down a few steps to the upper level of the house. This level has a full width balcony, 2 open plan living areas, dining area, bar/kitchenette and guest powder room. Immerse yourself in the view from full length windows on 3 sides of this huge area and double glass doors lead onto the balcony where you may watch river life go on as it has for centuries.

The second level features 2 double bedrooms (both with king beds) and one of these rooms also has a walk in robe and ensuite. The 3rd bedroom is a twin bedded room and shares an interconnecting bathroom with the 2nd double bedroom. There is a second entrance on this level through lovely, double wooden doors, and also an outdoor courtyard, small kitchen and sitting area.

The lower level has the house kitchen, laundry and staff quarters. A car and driver are available if required and there are many international standard restaurants in Ubud, or in the beach areas of Sanur and Seminyak. This two-storey holiday villa in Bali showcases contemporary Balinese architecture complemented by a large garden with a flat lawn and 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, together with a relaxation pavilion. The villa and garden are surrounded by high walls for privacy and the name Bahagia is taken from the Indonesian word for happy.

The staff
One villa Manager: meets and greets guests on arrival, leads the staffing team to meet the expectations of each guest.

Four Villa Attendants: responsible for housekeeping duties, take care of breakfast, daily laundry and providing waitress service around the villa and grounds. They can prepare light meals or indonesian food upon special request.

Bedrooms
There are four air-conditioned master bedrooms at Villa Bahagia, complete with ensuite bathrooms, picture windows and large sliding glass doors. One of the bedrooms has an adjoining office that can be used as a single bedroom, suitable for a child. Two bedrooms are located downstairs and two are situated upstairs; each is characterized by fresh white walls, flat ceilings and timber floors. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, while the other two bedrooms have twin beds, which convert to king size beds. Other furnishings include wardrobes, bedside tables, chests and chairs. Alcoves display Indonesia artifacts, and the walls are adorned with local artwork or framed black & white photographs of Bali.

The two Master Rooms have the additional facility of a dressing area with a dressing table and large mirror. The upstairs Master Bedroom opens onto a romantic stone balcony furnished with a wicker chair and table. From here, there is a beautiful view across the rice fields. The spare room is accessed via the smaller of the two bedrooms on the upper floor; it opens onto a sunny Palimanan stone terrace bordered by plants and flowers. Each bedroom is equipped with a safe deposit box.

Each ensuite bathroom has its own distinct characteristics; each is fashioned in light grey terrazzo, and fitted with a bath tub, walk-in shower, double washbasins and a toilet. The two downstairs bathrooms are each complemented by a pebbled courtyard planted with green foliage. Each is fitted with an oversize bathtub and an outdoor shower. Surrounded by walls, these garden bathrooms are totally private. The two upstairs bathrooms are cool and breezy due to the shuttered glassless windows. Each features a walk-in rain shower and an oversize bathtub.

Living and Dining Room
The spacious Living Room is located in the heart of the villa under a soaring roof. Open to the garden and swimming pool, this room is cooled by ceiling fans and natural breezes, and furnished with a woven cane sofa and chairs. WiFi Internet access has also been installed at the property for the convenience of the guests. Two steps lead up into the dining room, which is positioned next to the kitchen and furnished with a table for ten. Next to the dining room is another sitting area equipped with a satellite TV, DVD player and surround sound system.

The villa presents an enticing 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, which runs the width of the garden at the top end. The garden also features terraces, areas for relaxing, and a Palimanan sundeck with sun loungers and umbrellas. Adjoining the villa is an elevated open sided gazebo with a high pitched roof, a ceiling fan, an antique table and built in cushioned seating. There is a guest washroom leading off the courtyard at the main entrance, and a secure car parking area.

Food and Beverage
Villa Bahagia is able to provide upon request a simple food and beverages service for maximum of 8 guests – you will then ask the cook or manager for more details about available menu, whether you are requesting breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks.

Food & Beverage Charges
For your convenience, as with all charges, food & beverage charges will be billed to your final account and payable in total upon checkout. Bali Seminyak Villa present a modern architecture, yet providing a home-comfort living. The interior is carefully designed with color and material that flawlessly blended with the outdoor area. It offers many open spaces suitable for small function, family gathering or simply to relax on.

The villa compound is accessible through a discrete gate near the parking area. This stunning villa consists of main building, guest house, and rectangular pool set in the tropical garden. The living area is located on the ground floor of the main building, set along with the dinning area and the kitchen facing to the pool and garden. On the right side is charming bedroom with own terrace and en suite bathroom with view and access to the garden and pool.

The master bedroom is located on the upper floor accessible through the palimanan stair set behind the kitchen. The master bedroom comes with en suite bathroom and private balcony with view to the garden and the villa surrounding. In addition, there is a large open space on this level nicely set with some planter boxes. The guest house is featuring one bedroom located on the ground floor with small living area. The rooftop is also provides a spacious open space with view to the villa compound and surrounding.
